Executive Summary:
- To help Malaysian Indian Muslim secondary school leavers to choose the relevant education field upon finishing SPM.
- To guide these students into choosing the most suitable higher learning institute (IPTA/IPTS).
- To give consultation on the availability of financial aid for tertiary education.
Project Plan:
1. Short term
- To collect 2013 SPM students’ individual data, narrowed down to Selangor, Kuala Lumpur & Penang as project initiation.
- To gather all this students for an educational seminar and give explanation on the proper way to fill up higher learning institute entrance form based on their SPM result and also the requirement to apply for educational financial aid.
- To conduct education fair by having higher learning institute to participate and interact with these students. This will help the student to have firsthand experience on the choices and chances that they could obtain to further their education into tertiary level.
- To motivate and consult these students to further their studies and be successful in life for a better future.
2. Long term
- To make this program as a yearly event in order to create awareness on the importance of tertiary education among Malaysian Indian Muslim youths.
- To cover all the states in Malaysia.
Conclusion:
- This program being done by PERMIM with cooperation of Indian Muslim Youth movements as part of our social responsibility towards our community.
- To help our Malaysian Indian Muslim youths to further their studies into tertiary level.
- To ensure our Malaysian Indian Muslim youths are well prepared to achieve Vision 2020 and help to develop the country.
